BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND AT LIONHEART THEATRE!

MOONLIGHT AND MAGNOLIAS
by Ron Hutchinson

August 10-13
Directed by Debbie McLaughlin and Tanya Caldwell

Special Ticket Price ~ All Seats $10.00

1939 Hollywood is abuzz. Legendary producer David O. Selznick has shut down production of his new epic, "Gone with the Wind". The screenplay, you see, just doesn't work. So what's an all-powerful movie mogul to do? Selznick sends a car for famed screenwriter, Ben Hecht, and pulls formidable director, Victor Fleming, from the set of "The Wizard of Oz". Summoning both to his office, he locks the doors, closes the shades, and on a diet of bananas and peanuts, the three men labor over five days to fashion a screenplay that will become the blueprint for one of the most successful and beloved films of all time.

Why Ticket Sales Help Local Theatres

To put it plainly, ticket sales help local theatres like Lionheart Theatre keep their doors open and their lights on. The money from your ticket purchase helps keep our actors in costumes, props on our stage, and the rights to perform the shows that you want to see. For that, we greatly appreciate your contribution to our theatre company.

To show our gratitude, Lionheart gives back to the Norcross community often. In the past, we’ve donated funds to the needy, and we’ve also held drives for things like canned goods — all of which goes right back into your neighborhood. It is because of your patronage, and the hard work of our theatre members and volunteers, that we are able to do this!

How to Buy Lionheart Theatre Tickets

We’re glad you’re just as excited about our upcoming production as we are! Many of our shows sell out fast, which is why we encourage patrons to purchase their tickets in advance. For the majority of our programs, you will find that they take place at 10 College Street in historic Norcross. Friday and Saturday showings are usually at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows are at 2:00 p.m.

The theatre opens 30 minutes before each show, so that you can take your seat before the curtains draw. Also, please take note that doors close when the show starts, and late arrivals will not be able to enter until intermission. Before purchasing your tickets, double-check show times for the production you wish to see to ensure that you can make it there on time.
