Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2pm

By N. Richard Nash
Directed by Joanie McElroy

During the Depression era in the Midwest, con man Bill Starbuck acts as a rainmaker, but is chased out of town, after town. One day, he arrives in a drought-ridden rural town in Texas and shows up at the door of spinsterish Lizzie Curry and the rest of the Curry clan. Lizzie keeps house for her father, H.C. and two brothers on the family cattle ranch. As their farm languishes under the devastating drought, Lizzie’s family worries about her marriage prospects more than about their dying cattle.

Why Ticket Sales Help Local Theatres

To put it plainly, ticket sales help local theatres like Lionheart Theatre keep their doors open and their lights on. The money from your ticket purchase helps keep our actors in costumes, props on our stage, and the rights to perform the shows that you want to see. For that, we greatly appreciate your contribution to our theatre company.

To show our gratitude, Lionheart gives back to the Norcross community often. In the past, we’ve donated funds to the needy, and we’ve also held drives for things like canned goods — all of which goes right back into your neighborhood. It is because of your patronage, and the hard work of our theatre members and volunteers, that we are able to do this!

How to Buy Lionheart Theatre Tickets

We’re glad you’re just as excited about our upcoming production as we are! Many of our shows sell out fast, which is why we encourage patrons to purchase their tickets in advance. For the majority of our programs, you will find that they take place at 10 College Street in historic Norcross. Friday and Saturday showings are usually at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday shows are at 2:00 p.m.

The theatre opens 30 minutes before each show, so that you can take your seat before the curtains draw. Also, please take note that doors close when the show starts, and late arrivals will not be able to enter until intermission. Before purchasing your tickets, double-check show times for the production you wish to see to ensure that you can make it there on time.  Lionheart Theatre's ticket policy is No Refunds and No Exchanges.
