Start a new tradition with your family this year by visiting the Lionheart Theatre to see A Charlie Brown Christmas. This beloved and heartwarming holiday tale is the final production for the theatre company’s 2016 season, and it is the perfect addition to your December calendar. Tickets are only $10 and each showing includes a complimentary dessert.

Give Back to Your Community

For the 12 Days of Caring – New Toys for Atlanta’s Homeless Children, you and your family can volunteer your time or donate a toy this holiday season. There are a number of locations throughout the Metro-Atlanta area that need help this December. Holiday Photos and Carriage Rides

Downtown Norcross

Now until Dec. 23

At the Crossing Restaurant, on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays until 6:30 p.m., your child can have their photo taken with Santa. Photos are printed on site, and you can enjoy a nice family meal after meeting Ol’ Saint Nick. Also at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays, you can take a free carriage ride. Pick up is at the Taste of Britain store and rides are free!

S’mores with Santa

Discovery Garden Park

Dec. 17, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This new holiday tradition grants your family the opportunity to enjoy hot cocoa and s’mores with Santa Claus himself. Families are encouraged to bring cameras, to capture moments of Santa interacting with wintry friends and little ones. There is no admission cost, but donations are welcomed.

Wind Down with a Movie Day

Norcross Cultural Arts & Community Center Banquet Room

Dec. 27, 1:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

After the craziness of the holidays has passed, treat your family to a relaxing movie day. At the Cultural Arts & Community Center, you can view the new movie Finding Dory.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve

Dec. 31, starting at 7:00 p.m.

If you don’t mind traveling a few miles, our neighbors to the north are putting together a spectacular New Year’s Eve celebration. There will be games, food, music, and, of course, an incredible fireworks show at midnight. Ring in the New Year with your friends and family at this free event.
