Lionheart Presents “Lawless Spirits” 2022

Welcome to The Lionheart Theatre Company’s production of our spooky walking tour, “Lawless Spirits.”

The tales you’ll see and the spirits you’ll meet tonight are based on the real history of Norcross and the surrounding areas. Special thanks to Norcross Historian Gene Ramsay for his research and inspiration.

Meet the Cast of “Lawless Spirits”

Linda DeMaris (Tour Guide, Polly Anne Lively) Linda is thrilled to be guiding the Lawless Spirits Tour again after the 2-year pandemic break. She has enjoyed various on and off-stage roles with Lionheart. Her first and favorite being Aunt Polly in “The Adventures of Tom Sawyer.”

Scott King (Tour Guide, Jacob Medlock) Scott has been acting and directing at Lionheart for years and is excited to be involved once again in this show!

Kayla Lee (The Woman in Black) Kayla is excited to be a part of “Lawless Spirits.” She was last scene in “Memento Mori” as part of Lionheart’s 2020 production of “Maskerade.”

Jill Turcott (Aunt Caroline’s Ghost, Lady at the Train) This is Jill’s first time on the Lionheart Stage. She is a video editor who likes gardening, reading, and nature walks with her dog.

Darby Boyce (Aunt Caroline’s Ghost, Fred Webb) Darby is 15 years old. He started theater 4 years ago and hasn’t stopped since. His mom is his personal chauffeur and he gives endless thanks to her and his whole family for supporting him in his endeavors through theater. He couldn’t be happier to be with such a great cast. Thank you Miss Tanya for allowing me this opportunity. Enjoy the show.

Steven Bryon (Aunt Caroline’s Ghost, Detective Strudavan) This is Steven’s first time on the Lionheart stage. Steven is glad to be a part of the moving parts of Greater Atlanta. He believes these are the pieces for great things to come. 

Valarie Taylor (Aunt Caroline) Valarie is the Christian Producer and Director of The Heart of Christ – Beaver Ruin Road Baptist Creator African American tribute for Black History Beaver Ruin Road Baptist Church. First lead acting role. Excited to be a part of the Lionheart theater group. To God be the glory.

James Finocchio (Sergeant Bob Waggoner) James has not been on stage since High School more than 20 years ago. James is carrying on his family’s tradition in his debut performance here at Lionheart Theatre.

Bob Winstead (Charles, Bernard) is a local actor, director, magician and musician who has “trod the boards” at Lionheart for a number of years now. This is his 5th (or 6th?) “Lawless Spirits” and he thanks Tanya for letting him bring murder and mayhem once again to Norcross.

Zoe Robbins (Edna, Woman at the Train) Zoe returned to the stage this past summer in Lionheart’s production of “Cinderelliemae” (Cinderelliemae) after a decade hiatus. She wants to thank her friends and family for being so supportive of her return to acting.

Julia Kneeland (Mother of Edna, Mrs Sheffield) Julia is delighted to be back at Lionheart for the first time since appearing as crazy Aunt Harriet in their production of “The Man Who Came to Dinner,” and this time she’s not the murderer in the story.

Cat Rondeau (Lillie Pierce) is excited to be part of this favorite Halloween tradition! Most recently seen as Blanche DuBois in Lionheart’s “A Streetcar Named Desire,” she wants to thank you for supporting local arts – enjoy the show!

Allen Stone (James Pierce) Allen is very happy to once again be a Lawless Spirit. He has worked with Lionheart Theatre for 17 years and can’t wait for the next project.

Brynnan Taylor (Newsie) Brynnan is passionate about theater, musicals, and books. This is her first professional acting job.

Lindsey  Schuiteman (Susie) Though she’s usually behind the scenes, Lindsay Schuiteman has found it a pleasure to share Susie’s tragic story. She thanks her community of friends and family for supporting the show!

Tim Link (Thomas Collins) Tim is retired from a computer career and acts occasionally. He’s elated to appear in his home town production of “Lawless Spirits” and hopes you are just a little scared.

Serenity Finocchio (Lady in the Street) This is Serenity’s 3rd performance with Lionheart Theatre, having been involved in the Company since she was 8 years old when she debuted with her Grandfather in “Miracle on 34th Street.”

Greg Hirsch (Bija Knucklos) is excited for this to be his first show since graduating from the Gainesville Theatre Alliance. He hopes you enjoy this spooky show!

Michael Donelan (Doc Lively) Michael Donelan is a programmer, husband, dad, and occasional actor. He has appeared on stage in “Circle Mirror Transformation” with OnStage Atlanta, “A Streetcar Named Desire” with Lionheart Theatre, and several Sketchworks shows at the Village Theater.

Easton Carrillo (Adams) Easton fell in love with performing and theater at the age of eight. Now 16 and a junior at Paul Duke STEM high school, he has expanded his love of storytelling into film making. Growing up right here in Norcross, he is thrilled to once again be performing with the incomparable Lionheart team.

Jennifer Herring (Philadelphia Wynn Maltby) As a native Southerner and a lifelong Halloween enthusiast, Jenny Herring is thrilled to be a part of “Lawless Spirits” this year. Her past credits with Lionheart include performing with The Awkward Selfies comedy improv troupe and as Loretta in “Tony ‘n Tina’s Wedding.”

Corey Bossom (T.B. Ray) Corey is thrilled to participate in his first Halloween Tour at Lionheart. He thanks God for His blessings, his family and friends for their continuous support, Tanya for the amazing opportunity, and his fellow actors and actresses for making this production so much fun.

Debbie McLaughlin (Mrs. Ray) Debbie is so excited to be returning to “Lawless Spirits” as Mrs. Ray. This is one of my favorite Lionheart traditions!
