A Southern Exposure is a comedy-drama set in a small town in 1990’s Kentucky. It is the story of Callie Belle Hurt whose idea of love is so unrealistic it could be lifted from the pages of a romance novel. Raised by Hattie, her sassy, Bible-thumping grandmother with a cast-iron will and her two eccentric aunts, Callie Belle stuns her family when she announces that she has fallen in love and is moving to New York to live with her boyfriend.

Glory Hanna (Ida Mae) has worked with Lionheart Theatre for many years both onstage and backstage. She has previously stage managed many productions. Some of her performances have been as Marcella in Second Samuel, Gingy in Love, Loss and What I Wore, and Hannah in Quiet in the Land. She has also performed with New Dawn as Nurse Ratched in One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest and Gwinnett County Players as Sylvia Fowler in The Women. It has been a joy working with Brandi Kilgore and the whole cast of A Southern Exposure.

Marla Krohn (Mattie) has been performing for over 35 years on TV, Radio and films, but her greatest love is the STAGE. The immediate laughter of an audience is the sweetest sound. She teaches, directs and works tech whenever possible at Lionheart Theatre and loves being a part of the Lionheart family. Thank you, Brandi, for allowing me to be a part of this fun cast. Enjoy the show!
